LASER SCANNING
Large volume laser scanning sparked AMG’s interest in portable metrology. Used widely across all industries, many of our project successes began with a simple laser scan. Ranging from 1 to 3mm accuracy, it is the go-to technology for rapid, versatile, long-range data capture.
LASER ALIGNMENT
The advanced measurement group has extensively used laser trackers for over a decade. Lightweight, portable and extremely accurate (+/- 0.01mm), they form the core service of the group. Heavily relied upon for AMG’s power industry customers, they support our ‘final fit first time’ approach and save vast amounts of time and effort compared with traditional alignment methods.
REVERSE ENGINEERING / INSPECTION
At the higher end of the accuracy range lies photogrammetry and blue light scanning. With fast data capture in the single figure micron range and incredibly portable, they are the most accurate mobile scanner available. Data capture ranges from the smallest blade to entire rotors with ease due to photogrammetry scalability.
